NEW DELHI: Samsung has lowered the price of its A series smartphone in India. The Samsung Galaxy A50s has a price cut of up to Rs 6,000. The 4GB RAM version of the smartphone has a price cut of Rs 2,471, the device previously sold for Rs 21,070 and is now available at Rs 18,599. On the other hand, the 6 GB version of RAM has received a price drop of Rs 6,384. Customers can now purchase the 6GB RAM version of the Samsung Galaxy A50s for Rs 20,561.

For those who don’t know, Samsung launched the Galaxy A50s in India in September of last year. The smartphone features a 6.4-inch Full HD + screen with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The device is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9611 processor with Mali-G72 GPU.

The smartphone includes 4GB / 6GB of RAM and offers 64GB / 128GB internal storage. Users can further expand storage up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs the Android 9.0 Pie operating system with the company’s own One user interface.

The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charge support. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type C.

Last week, Samsung cut the price of its Galaxy M21 smartphone. According to a report by SamMobile, the phone’s 64GB storage model will now cost Rs 13,199. It was previously priced at Rs 14,222. Similarly, the 128GB variant will now be cheaper at Rs 1,000. It is now priced at Rs 15,499. The report adds that the phone can be purchased at the new price through Amazon in the coming weeks.
