Actress Saumya Tandon has urged people to contribute health care kits for frontline workers battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
The initiative was started by a young student who lives in her building and Saumya was more than willing to help in any way possible.
“A child staying in my building has started this initiative and we must support it wholeheartedly. At times like these, humanity must rise to the occasion and I am sure we will raise enough funds to purchase the kits,” she said. .
“Every drop counts in those efforts and the response has been very encouraging. We still need more funds and I hope that citizens will not leave a stone unturned to express gratitude to these brave hearts who risk their lives daily to keep us safe.” additional.
Saumya has been attracting, through his social networks, asking people to donate to the cause.
His fans have tweeted in support of the initiative.
