Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman expressed his opinion on the team’s 1-1 draw with Sevilla on Sunday at the Camp Nou.
The hosts needed a draw from Philippe Coutinho to salvage a draw against Julen Lopetegui’s team in a close La Liga match.
Koeman admitted that his team hadn’t been at their best and felt they were tired towards the end of 90 minutes.
“They pressured us very well but we broke it a couple of times, the problem was that in our game with the ball they defended very well and in the end we were tired. We were not very precise and we lost the ball ”.
“In the last 10 minutes I don’t know if there was a penalty on Messi and the goalkeeper stopped two or three chances.
“We were less energetic than in the first two games, but that depends on the opponents. They defended well, they have many strong players and to beat them you have to be in very good shape. And we weren’t. “
