India vs Australia Live Score, 4th Test in Brisbane, Day 2 – IND 37-1: FOUR! Rohit gets one that’s short and external to Green and absolutely lunges at him, knocking him through offside to mark the limit. It is clear that it is now decided and would like this coup to count.
IND 24-1: Cummins’ introduction into the attack has understandably made India more circumspect. The new Cheteshwar Pujara has a task in hand along with Rohit, but they have both searched for it so far.
IND 11-1: OUT! Pat Cummins walks in and makes the breakthrough, eliminating Shubman Gill. He throws one right outside and Gill, unsure whether to defend or leave, hangs up the bat and passes it to Steve Smith in his briefs.
IND 2-0: Good start for India so far. Neither Rohit nor Gill have sought to take unnecessary risks thus far, which makes sense since this pitch has a thing for hitters once they’re ready.
IND 0-0: Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the Brisbane test. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are in the middle and expect India to get off to a good start.
An excellent session for India. They have taken 5 wickets in the morning, conceding 95 runs. India has kept Australia well under 400 and the inexperienced bowling attack deserves praise for doing well. However, it was also a decent effort on the part of the Australian tail, with the bat.
OUTSIDE! WOOD! Natarajan finishes for the Indians. A beautiful ball from Natarajan. Another nice change from Rahane bowling. Hazlewood appears to drive a fuller ball, but fails to make any connections. The ball goes behind to disturb the woodwork. Australia is eliminated by 369.
IND vs AUS Live Score – AUS 369/9 – FOUR! Programmed! Josh Hazlewood trailing Mohammad Siraj. Follows it up with another deck unit for four
Mitchell Starc takes Siraj’s things short, but manages to inflate it midway, Mayank Agarwal’s desperate attempt, but the ball lands safely. Short ball around, this time Starc looks to shoot but gets a top edge. The ball rises in the air towards the middle. Agarwal from the middle of the race runs for the catch but fails to get there, despite throwing himself.
IND vs AUS Live Score- AUS 354/9 – OUT! It knocks him off his legs. Sundar superior delivery. He gets his third wicket of the game and Lyon’s entertainment is over. Nonetheless, a useful coup on your part.
350 for Australia, and here’s a stat for you: The hosts have never lost a test at the Gabba after scoring over 350 in the first innings.
FOUR! SHOOTING! Everything here comes from the middle of the Lyon willow tree. Full and out of place, Lyon propels him up. Goes to the right of the middle gardener. He taunts the fielder who chases him but comes second.
SIX! There goes Starc. It was only a matter of time before Starc bet on the big shots. After blocking the 5 balls of the over, he decides that the time has come. Sundar throws it again. It’s right in Starc’s arc of attack. The southpaw beats him for a long time for a big problem.
OUTSIDE! LBW! Three reds! Shardul gets another. India coming back to this game here. Splendid things from Shardul here. He cooks this full and straight. Cummins seeks to move, but fails. Cummins has reviewed it! It is on an appeal from LBW that he ruled it out, on the field. It looks good, especially if there was no bat. Nothing on Hot Spot and nothing on Snicko. Ball Tracker is in, Impact is in, and wicket is hitting. Australia loses the review.
OUTSIDE! Washington Sundar punishes well-established Cameron Green, the off-line spin that went straight, takes the edge and dives into the stumps. Green’s luck runs out. This big window. Going for 47. Wickets of consecutive overs for India.
OUTSIDE! Tim Paine comes out for 50, Shardul Thakur with the window – third catch for Rohit Sharma – much needed window for India. They keep fighting!
IND vs AUS Live Score: AUS – 311/5: Washington Sundar in attack now and one event over. Lucky for Green. Sundar floats one around, bounces a bit more as Green looks to defend, but ends up gaining an outside advantage. The ball then passes to the goalkeeper’s right and hits the goalkeeper’s arms. The ball is thrown into the air, but falls too far from Rahane on the first slip. FIFTY FOR THE PAIN! A good hit from the boss. He has done very well here. He’s come back quite a bit from his hitting, but the captain has led from the front here. A fuller ball out of the field, Paine drives it out of the covering fielder to reach the milestone. His ninth half ton in Test, second in this series. Can the Aussie captain reach the triple figure score here?
Update on Navdeep Saini – He has not taken the field this morning after he left the field yesterday and was taken for scans for a possible groin strain. India is a short bowler hat, wait Rohit Sharma will turn it around today if Australia is able to hit long
AUS 303/5: Shardul Thakur enters the attack for the first time and begins with a loose throw from the side of the leg – Tim Paine takes it off the pads. 300 for India. The association until 90 and Paine reached 47. These are not good signs for India and honestly, the Indian bowlers have lacked discipline this morning.
AUS 298/5 – T Natarajan goes around the gate. Good first 20 minutes for Australia. Tim Paine and Cameron Green have felt very comfortable; but as I write, Green is chasing a full, wide, edged, no third slip, and a streaky four for the off-road
AUS 290/5 – Mohammad Siraj with the second finished and tries a goalkeeper – flies over the batter and a Rishabh Pant that jumps for five byes. 8 runs away from that too.

AUS 282/5 – And we are on our way! T Natarajan starts the process. And an absolute beauty for Cameron Green. It throws in the middle and moves marginally away to square the SUV, almost a wicket. But, Green counterattacks with a direct drive for four. He is on
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the second day of the Brisbane test. For the Australians, it’s about crossing the 400-race mark and most of that goal can only be achieved if Paine and Cameron’s pair stick around for a long time. The association between the two is worth 64 and they have also been positive in scoring. But you could both take a fairly moderate approach, choosing to play the first session fairly carefully. It must be interesting to watch. The other important thing is the weather! Hope it’s clear and we have a good game day
