ABU DHABI: Capitals of Delhi captain Shreyas Iyer Sunday said batter wicket-keeper Rishabh pants will be out for at least a week due to a recent hamstring injury.
Pant had been injured in the match against the Rajasthan Royals on Friday.
DC failed Pant when they fell to a five wicket loss to the defending champions Mumbai Indians on Sunday and lost first place in the points table.
Alex Carey of Australia replaced Pant in the starting eleven.
Iyer said the team still doesn’t know anything about the stumper’s return from India.

“We have no idea (about Rishabh’s availability), the doctor said he has to rest for a week and expects him to come back really strong,” Iyer said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
