Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who was unable to attend the veteran actor’s funeral, simply cannot help but revisit old memories, some of which she also shares in her Instagram stories.
Riddhima has now shared two black and white photos in his IG stories. While one of the photos shows Rishi with Neetu Kapoor during his wedding celebrations, another is with his mother Krishna Raj Kapoor.
The candid wedding photo shows Rishi in a suit, with his girlfriend Neetu Kapoor, who is wearing a heavy sari with a veil over her head. In another image, we see Rishi holding the hand of his mother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, as if asking for a dance. She captioned the image in particular as: “Reunited with her favorite person.”
Riddhima, who watched the funeral during a FaceTime session with Alia Bhatt, had previously written that she couldn’t say a “final goodbye” to her father in her Instagram story. Later, he posted a photo of Rishi to say “Legends live forever … I miss you.” Riddhima also shared a lot of childhood memories with her and her brother, actor Ranbir Kapoor, as miniature versions. In one of the photos published by Riddhima, Rishi Kapoor appears with his mother Krishna Raj Kapoor, who died in October 2018.
Rishi Kapoor died in Mumbai on the morning of April 30. Just the night before, Riddhima received permission to drive to Mumbai from Delhi. Riddhima is a jewelry designer and lives with her husband and daughter in Delhi.
On Sunday, he dipped his father’s ashes in the Banganga in Mumbai along with brother Ranbir and mother Neetu.
On the day of Rishi Kapoor’s death, Riddhima shared an emotional post on his Instagram. “I miss you, come back, dad” and “I wish I could be there to say goodbye, dad,” he wrote.
