Rhea Chakraborty’s father, Indrajit Chakraborty, took to Twitter to share his disappointment and anger over his daughter’s arrest and the rejection of her bail bond in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Reacting to a follower’s tweet, he said: “No father can bear injustice to his daughter. I should die. ”He said the whole country is hell-bent on sending Rea behind bars without any proof.

Sharing an update on Rhea’s arrest, he tweeted: “Rhea Chakraborty’s bail declined. Next act probably in session court on Thursday! “Rhea, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was sent to 14-day judicial custody on Tuesday after the court rejected her statement of bail.

Speaking of Sushant, he said: “So here is the most uncomfortable truth: if the NCB case went to court, then Sushant, if he were alive, would have been the main defendant as a drug consumer, solicitor and financier. So far Justice for SSR: This is what the campaign has done: a good legacy of actor linked to drug abuse! ”

In its request for Rhea’s return, NCB stated that she is an active member of a “drug syndicate” and that she is used to manage finances for the purchase of drugs together with the deceased actor. She said that she revealed about her involvement in the acquisition of medicines and financial transactions and also her instructions to Dipesh Sawant, Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda.
Sawant was arrested by the NCB for his role in drug acquisition and manipulation. Showik and Miranda have also been arrested in the same case.
