In a private WhatsApp group, which includes Rhea, Showik, Samuel Miranda, Dipesh Sawant, the conversation indicates that it revolves around the acquisition of medicines.
Rhea in the chat asks Showik, ‘How many shoots does it take?’ And her brother responds by explaining how they will achieve it.
The role of Rhea’s brother Showik and his alleged ties to the people captured by the NCB are under the agency’s scanner and he and Rajput manager Samuel Miranda are expected to be summoned for questioning soon, the sources said. .

On Wednesday, in a breakthrough for the NCB, the agency accessed the call details logs and chats of Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik revealing that Showik shared the number of a drug dealer with Samuel Miranda, who later used to buy drugs on behalf of the former.
Furthermore, in the explosive WhatsApp chats that Republic TV had access to between Showik and a friend since October 2019, Showik admits that he knows drug dealers: Zaid Vilatra and Basit Parihar. Zaid was previously arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). In the series of talks between Showik and the drug dealer, he admits that he has hashish in his possession. He also names drug dealers like Karamjeet, Raj and Suryadeep in the chats.
Sushant case: NCB catches another suspect
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is questioning another person, suspected of being a drug dealer, in connection with the drug trafficking case linked to the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, authorities said Thursday.
The man whose identity has not been disclosed is allegedly linked to Basit Parihar, who has been arrested by the federal anti-narcotics agency in this case. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) will seek 10-day custody of suspected drug traffickers Zaid Vilatra and Abdul Basit Parihar arrested in connection with the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput on Thursday, sources told Republic Media Network.
