The Bureau of Narcotics Control’s investigation into the Bollywood drug case, which is getting intense by the day, is all over the news these days. It all started after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty came on the agency’s radar. In fact, the actress was even arrested by the NCB earlier this month. Not only Rhea, but also her brother Showik Chakrabory, Samuel Miranda, Sushant’s housekeeper Dipesh Sawant, and several suspected drug dealers were also arrested by the NCB.
Recently, there were reports that Rhea, Showik and others had gone to High Court seeking bail in the drug case. While the hearing on her bond statement was postponed to September 29, according to the recent update, the Bombay High Court has reserved the order in the matter. On the other hand, NCB has opposed the declaration of bail in court and claimed that the case is not related to Sushant Singh Rajput, but to the drug union.
“Throughout the arguments, the applicants claim that this is related to the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, but this investigation has nothing to do with it. I want to point out that this is a drug union and that they are all interconnected. All the people arrested so far are connected to each other and it is a union. There were links and regular purchases. This is not a case related to #SushantSinghRajput, it may have been one of the consumers, but the whole transaction and the deal is not restricted to him, ”stated ASG Anil Singh.
