Ms. Chakraborty was questioned for approximately seven hours on Saturday at the DRDO guest house in Mumbai, where the CBI has established its base. They had interrogated her for about ten hours on Friday.

A vehicle carrying Ms. Chakraborty arrived at the DRDO guest house in the Santacruz suburbs around 1:30 pm. She was escorted by a police van. She left the guest house, again under police escort, around 8:30 pm. Her brother Showik Chakraborty accompanied her, an official said.

Ms Chakraborty, 28, who dated the 34-year-old Rajput for a year and left their home on June 8, six days before he was found dead, was asked a series of questions including details of his relationship with Rajput and his family. why you left Mr Rajput’s home and if you had any contact with her after her departure.

The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation), which took over the case following an order from the Supreme Court, is investigating allegations by Mr. Rajput’s family that Ms. Chakraborty and her family mentally harassed the actor, removed him money and had a possible role in his death in June.

His brother Showik is also being questioned by the agency. Domestic staff at Mr. Rajput’s home in Mumbai, where he was found dead, and his roommate, Siddharth Pithani, are also being questioned.

On Thursday, Ms. Chakraborty told NDTV about the “excruciating mental torture” from being investigated by multiple agencies; the plaintiff is currently the subject of at least three independent investigations: the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Office (NCB).

The ED is investigating “suspicious financial transactions” involving millions of rupees, while the NCB is investigating drug-related allegations based on WhatsApp chats recovered from Ms. Chakraborty’s phone.

Ms Chakraborty has denied all charges, describing as “pathetic” allegations by Rajput’s father that she poisoned his son and stole money from him.

“It is extremely painful that someone (Sushant’s father) is going through such a great loss. He loved his son, I took care of him. At least he would have humanity. If it weren’t for me, for him,” she told NDTV on Thursday. Rajput’s father had brought a case against Ms Chakraborty to the police in Patna of Bihar, alleging that she participated in the death of his son.

She also tried to turn around the Rajput family, who have persistently attacked her since the case began, pointing out that it was her sister and not her who was with the actor that week and asking, “If he was unwell, why what did she? she left? “
