Codenamed Kiger, the SUV is based on the CMF-A Modular platform, which was borrowed from Nissan Magnite.
The 1.0-liter engine combined with the X-tronic CVT option is also configured to perform transmission duties.

Renault India’s current portfolio includes entry-level hatchbacks and minivan, Kwid and Triber respectively, and the very popular compact SUV: Duster. The next subcompact SUV will rank below Duster in the lineup. The SUV is likely to hit the road in the first quarter of 2021.
