He has also refereed two women’s ODI Matches matches in 2012. Pathak has officiated in Indian national cricket since 2009 was the reserve referee for two tryouts and three ODIs in India.
In 2015, Pathak became the first Indian referee to wear a helmet while refereeing in a match.
