Along with the recently announced Redmi Note 9 series in China, the brand unveiled its first smartwatch entry, aptly named Redmi Watch. It’s a rectangular smartwatch with the usual set of fitness, heart rate and sleep tracking combined with a super affordable price tag.
The Redmi Watch includes a 1.4-inch color screen with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels and 2.5D glass. You can choose between black, white and navy colors for the watch with a matching silicone strap that is also available in pink and green options.

Battery life is estimated to be 7 days with normal use and 12 days with power saving mode activated. It charges via a proprietary base and a full charge takes 2 hours.
The Redmi Watch will sell for CNY 299 ($ 45), although it is offered for CNY 269 ($ 40) in a limited-time offer. Sales in China begin on December 1. No details on international availability were released. The wearable device could make its way out of China as Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite, a name that appeared on an FCC list a while ago.
