The launch of the Redmi Note 9 5G series is scheduled for November 26 in China and a lot has already been revealed about the Note 9 5G and Note 9 Pro 5G models. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G specifications have been leaked several times and it is almost confirmed that it is a rebranded Mi 10T Lite. Now, before the launch, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing teased the image of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, revealing a gradient color scheme similar to that of the Mi 10T Lite. Weibing also revealed that the phone will be equipped with a completely new main camera that has not been seen on any other phone so far. According to the leaked specs, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is said to ship with a 108MP Samsung HM2 lens.

The teaser image shows the phone in a unique gradient finish with a circular quad-camera setup, an LED flash, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security. The blue and peach color finish is similar to the Rose Gold Beach color option for the Mi 10T Lite. The circular camera module will house four cameras, while the LED flash will be positioned just outside the ring.
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G Specifications (Rumors)
As for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, it is said to come with a 6.67-inch FHD + LCD display with 120Hz display, 240Hz touch sampling, and perforated cutout for the selfie camera. It is expected to work with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with at least 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage options. The phone is said to ship with a 4,820 mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is likely to run Android 10-based MIUI 12 custom skin on top. Xiaomi will reveal the official price and specifications of the Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 Pro 5G on Thursday, November 26.
