Realme currently has six smartphones in its X series and it looks like the company will soon expand the line with the X3 SuperZoom, which has been featured on Geekbench and has earned some certifications.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom, which carries the model code RMX2086, has been certified by NBTC and EEC. It has also been listed on the website of the Indian Standards Office (BIS), suggesting an imminent release.
Listings on certification authority websites do not reveal any specs for the X3 SuperZoom, but thanks to Geekbench, we know that it will run Android 10 out of the box and have 12GB of RAM.
The reference database lists the motherboard as “msmnile”, which corresponds to the Snapdragon 855+ SoC. It’s the same chipset that powers Realme 2019’s flagship: X2 Pro.
Geekbench doesn’t reveal any other specs for the X3 SuperZoom, but the name suggests it will come with a telephoto camera and may offer more than 20x zoom, which is what Realme’s current flagships offer.
We will probably also see a normal X3, which can bypass the telephoto module.
