The Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Shaktikanta Das, tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday. Asking people who have been in contact with him recently to have their health tested or checked, Das said he will isolate himself and continue to work. The daily operation of the RBI will continue as normal and the governor will remain in contact with the lieutenant governors and other officials through videoconferences and telephone. Giving up-to-date information on her health, she said she feels fine and does not have any major symptoms.

“I have tested positive for COVID-19. Asymptomatic I feel very good. I have alerted those who came into contact in the last few days. I will continue working from isolation. Work at RBI will continue normally. I am in contact with all Dy. Governors and other officials via VC and over the phone, ”he tweeted.
