Various reactions and comments came as fans, as well as former cricketers, praised the ‘King Yorker’ for his excellent display of fast bowling. The Indian head coach, Ravi Shastri, was also in awe of the Jasprit Bumrah 4-20 vs Rajasthan spell. Ravi Shastri took to Twitter and appreciated Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling and admitted that he enjoyed watching him play.
However, as always, Ravi Shastri was subjected to many trolls as fans made memes to poke fun at the Indian veteran. While some fans criticized Ravi Shastri for not throwing the same praise on Suryakumar Yadav, who also played a prolific 79-of-47-ball inning, others tried to tease the Indian coach again for his drinking habits. Mumbai posted a massive 193/4 total at the end of its 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav scored a 47-ball goal 79. Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya also made helpful contributions. The Mumbai bowlers were relentless in their attack and their fielders backed them up with exceptional fielding. Jos Buttler was the lone wolf from Rajasthan to hit a 70 of 44 balls, while the rest of the batsmen had no answers for impeccable Mumbai bowling. Finally, they were eliminated by 136 and lost their third game in a row.
Courtesy of their victory over Rajasthan, the Mumbai team has now become clear at the top of the 2020 Dream11 IPL points table with four wins in six games.
