Industrial veteran Ratan Tata said the new coronavirus pandemic will force entrepreneurs to adapt, create and find ways to enable new or modified companies that will be the benchmarks of tomorrow.

While seeking not to “minimize the challenges and difficulties embedded in these present times,” said Tata, “It can all start on a clean sheet of paper looking for ways to do things that have never been thought of before.”

In an Instagram post, Tata hoped that entrepreneurs would find a better way to run their operations after the pandemic that has severely disrupted economic activity.

“In difficult times past, entrepreneurs have shown farsightedness and creativity that they couldn’t believe existed. These became the masts of innovation and new technology today. I hope the ability to find another way to build a product , running a company, executing operations in a better way, will emerge as a result of the current crisis, “he said.

Rata Tata, who was president of Tata Sons from 1991 until his retirement on December 28, 2012, further stated: “I will not minimize the challenges and difficulties embedded in these current times. But my confidence remains high in the inventive nature and the creative entrepreneurs of today who will find ways to enable new or modified companies that would be benchmarks of tomorrow. “

“This crisis will force entrepreneurs to adapt and create,” added Tata.
