Kangana Ranaut’s criticism of the Mumbai police and the comparison of Mumbai with Pakistani-occupied Kashmir prompted a strong response from Maharashtra’s Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh. He said that she “has no right to live in Maharashtra or Mumbai” after making such comments.
Rangoli Chandel, Kangana’s sister and manager, responded by saying, “Aur tumhe yeh bolne ka right kisne diya (And who gave you the right to say this)? We will arrive on September 9 at our home in Mumbai. Do everything you can. ”She made this comment on her Instagram stories.
Early Friday, Deshmukh had told ANI, “The Mumbai police compare themselves to Scotland Yard. Some people are trying to target the Mumbai police. An IPS officer has gone to court against this … After her comparison (of Kangana) with the Mumbai police … she has no right to live in Maharashtra or Mumbai. “

Kangana gave a message to her detractors, telling them that she will return to Mumbai on September 9, challenging them to stop her if they can. “I see that a lot of people threaten me not to go back to Mumbai, so I have decided to travel to Mumbai next week, on September 9, I will post the time when I land at Mumbai airport, kisi ke baap mein himmat hai toh rok will (if anyone has the guts, come and stop me), ”he tweeted.

On Thursday, Kangana called Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s comments about her in the Saamana party spokesman an “open threat” and said Mumbai “felt like Pakistani-occupied Kashmir.” The politician had criticized his recent attacks on the Mumbai police in his editorial.
Shiv Sena’s leader had criticized her for repeatedly denouncing the Mumbai police, despite making a living in the city. “We kindly ask you not to come to Mumbai. This is nothing more than an insult to the Mumbai police. The Home Office should take action on this, ”he wrote in Saamana, according to The New Indian Express.
Kangana has been criticizing the Mumbai police, calling it “a big sham on behalf of the police force.” She also questioned her investigation into the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput and openly supported the transfer of the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
