Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor made a mark in the film industry and married his co-star Babita in 1971. The happy couple welcomed two daughters, Karisma and Kareena. Recently, Randhir went on record talking about the same thing and spoke about his estranged wife. Randhir said they are mature people who know their priorities and who share a cordial relationship with Babita.
Talking to Hindustan TimesRandhir further said: “She is a crucial part of my life. She has given me two lovely children. We are all older people and we prefer to stay apart, (but) we are not enemies.” From family weddings, family dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions to Kapoor’s annual Christmas luncheon, Randhir and Babita are often seen together.
Stating that nothing has changed in their relationship, apart from the fact that they do not live in the same house, Randhir stated that they still meet often, at family parties, and “she is always there at family events, whether at home. from Rishi or my house. “
Speaking about the differences between the two, Randhir revealed that it was their lifestyle changes that forced them to distance themselves. “She found out that I was a terrible man who drank a lot and came home late, that it was something she didn’t like. Fans have often wondered why the couple are still legally married and have not considered divorcing. Speaking of the same thing, Randhir went on to say, “Divorce for what? Why should we divorce? I have no intention of getting married again, and neither does she.”
