Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh):
Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attacked opposition parties today for fueling unrest in the country using farmers, and delivered a somewhat curious logic as to why they were doing this: discontent over the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
“This is the envy of those people who don’t like Bharat becoming Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. I saw that there is a dharna. First, they said there should be a minimum support price guarantee (MSP),” he said. the Chief Minister. he said, speaking at a farmer outreach program in the Bareilly district of western UP.
“The government said that there is no possibility of recovering the MSP. So why are the people deceiving (the farmers)? They are angry. Those who cannot tolerate that a large Ram temple is being built in Ayodhya … they are angry because Prime Minister Narendra Modi has even launched the construction of a great Ram temple, “said Adityanath.
The prime minister also praised the prime minister’s “unprecedented efforts” to help Indian farmers and, interestingly, attacked another unlikely opponent: communism.
Referring to those who allegedly conspire to create “disorder in the country,” he said: “The theory of communism will never be true. That if you repeat a lie a hundred times, it will come true. There are those who do not want a change in the lives of farmers.” .
Farmers in western Uttar Pradesh, along with thousands of those in Punjab and Haryana, have been protesting for the past three weeks along Delhi’s borders, demanding the repeal of India’s new agricultural laws.
