, the shooting stopped immediately in Hyderabad. Now Rajinikanth has returned home to Chennai to be with his wife and family. Doctors have recommended complete bed rest for a week due to his severe hypertension and exhaustion.
Upon arrival in Chennai, Rajinikanth received a traditional welcome from his wife Latha. He applied tika to his forehead and performed aarti on the door. The image of the husband and wife is winning the hearts of fans on social media.
The actor was filming for the Tamil movie Annaatthe in Hyderabad for the past 10 days. A couple of people on film sets had tested positive for COVID-19. Rajinikanth was tested on December 22 for Covid but it came back negative. Since then, he had isolated himself and was being closely monitored.
Although he had no symptoms of COVID-19, his blood pressure showed severe fluctuations and he needed further evaluation so he was admitted to the hospital. Now, he appears to be fine and fit.
