Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Bhanwar Lal Meghwal Passes Away – Condolences Arrive | Jaipur News


JAIPUR: Master Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment of Rajasthan Bhanwar Lal Meghwal, who was suffering from cerebral haemorrhage, died in a Gurugram hospital on Monday. He was 72 years old.

The state government declared a state day of mourning on Tuesday following the death of the cabinet minister.
Meghwal, who represented the Sujangarh Assembly constituency of Churu District, suffered a stroke in May this year.
Prime Minister Ashok Gehlot, Head of State Congress Govind Singh Dotasra, former MP CM Sachin Pilot and other leaders condemned the death of Meghwal, who was a five-time member of justice.
“Deeply saddened by the passing of my ministerial colleague, Master Bhanwar Lal Meghwal ji, after a prolonged illness. We have been together since 1980. My condolences to the members of his family at this difficult time, may God grant you forces, “Gehlot said. .
The head of the PCC, Dotasra, who is also the Minister of Education, mourned the death and prayed for the peace of the deceased soul.
He reported that the state government declared this Tuesday a day of mourning for which the Congress party also postponed a workshop, scheduled at the Birla auditorium in Jaipur, for party workers for the next panchayat elections.
AICC general secretary in charge of Rajasthan Ajay Maken, CM Gehlot and other leaders were scheduled to address the workshop.
Pilot also expressed his condolences on the death of the minister. Recently, the minister’s daughter, Banarasi Devi, had passed away due to cardiac arrest.
