Rajasthan: Six men gang rape 45-year-old woman in Alwar, heinous crime video circulates on social media

JaipurIn a shocking incident report of sexual assault from Alwar of Rajasthan, a 45-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by six people while riding home on a motorcycle with her nephew after visiting a relative in neighboring Haryana. The defendant also filmed a video of the heinous crime and later circulated it on social media platforms.

On September 14, the woman and her nephew were returning from a relative’s home in a village in Haryana when the six suspects, armed with sharp weapons, intercepted them in Tijara. One of the accused allegedly raped the woman, while others held her nephew hostage and filmed the act. Later, they also sexually assaulted her, police said.

Survivor reports a crime

The survivor did not initially report the crime. However, the suspects shared the video on social media platforms, after which she approached the police and registered a complaint. Subsequently, the police took action and arrested three of the six defendants.

Last year, a similar crime was reported in the district’s Thanagaazi village, in which a woman accompanying her husband was gang-raped and filmed. Later, her video was shared on social media.

Girl gang-raped at knife point in Delhi

In another incident, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped at knife point by three men, aged 24 to 28, in front of her brother-in-law in the Harsh Vihar area of ​​Delhi. The survivor, in her complaint, stated that she was returning home with her brother-in-law when the accused tried to take her purse. When she resisted, they threatened her with a knife and raped her while holding her brother-in-law hostage.

With the help of CCTV footage, the police identified the three defendants and arrested them Thursday morning. They have been booked for rape, robbery and illegal confinement.
