IPL RR vs CSK: Sanju Samson 74, sprinter Jofra Archer’s late showmanship with the bat (he pitched four sixes in a row) and Rahul Tewatia’s three-wicket flurry propelled the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to a comfortable 16-run win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in an Indian Premier League (IPL) game here on Tuesday. RR posted a mammoth 216 for seven wickets in 20 overs and the three-time champion CSK finished with 200 for six wickets in 20 overs, despite a late raise from Faf du Plessis (72), at Sharjah International Stadium. Starters Shane Watson (33) and Murali Vijay (21) ensured CSK crossed 50 in the first six overs. Rahul Tewatia (3/37), however, made sure that CSK did not take advantage of the small opportunity that Watson provided. He fired the Australian veteran and then Sam Curran, who was hitting the ball cleanly. Shreyas Gopal got Vijay’s wicket in the next over after Watson was fired.
