Rajsamand BJP and MLA leader in Rajasthan Kiran Maheshwari, who tested positive for coronavirus, died at a hospital in Gurgaon. She was 59 years old.
Kiran Maheshwari, a three-time member of the Rajsamand justice, was receiving treatment at Medanta hospital for the past few days. He passed away Sunday night.
Lok Sabha Chairman Om Birla, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Assembly Chairman CP Joshi, BJP State Chairman Satish Poonia and other leaders condemned his passing.
“I am saddened to learn of the untimely passing of BJP leader and Rajsamand MLA Kiran Maheshwari ji. My condolences to his family members and supporters at this difficult time,” Gehlot tweeted.
Expressing his grief over the death of the MLA, CP Joshi in a tweet said: “Shocked to hear about the untimely disappearance of Rajsa and MLA, Kiran Maheshwari Ji. My condolences to the entire family and prayers to God for strength to bear this loss (sic). ”
