The Railway will start to run 200 passenger trains soon from the 1 of June, bookings for which will begin from 10 in the morning of 21 May. The train services will include Jan Shatabdi trains, Sampark Kranti, Duronto Express and other regular trains for passengers. There will be No unreserved coaches in these trains. There is No bed linen, blankets and curtains should be provided inside the trains.
Only online e-tickets is done via the IRCTC website or through the mobile application. No tickets will be issued across the counter of any train station. The rate will be normal and for the General (SG) of the coaches, the second seat (2) fees will be charged and the seat will be provided to all passengers. Only passengers with confirmed tickets will be able to participate in the railway stations. The ARP or advance reservation period will be a maximum of 30 days.
All passengers will be screened before boarding, and only asymptomatic passengers will be allowed to board the train. Upon arrival at their destination, passengers will have to comply with strict health protocols prescribed by the target of a state or Territory of the Union.
On Tuesday, the Railway ministry had said that not only CA the trains run, but a day later, that now has also allowed AC train.
All passengers must download and use the Aarogya respective eras application and passengers are advised to travel light, the railway, the ministry said in a statement.
