Bigg Boss 2 contestant Rahul Mahajan is in the news these days as he will be taking part on Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 14 as a challenger. And it seems that Rahul has no qualms about being open about his personal life. He had recently been open to giving up alcohol and cigarettes. And now, Rahul has revealed that his Russian wife Natalya Ilina converted to Hinduism after their marriage.
“We are like two railroad tracks. We do not interfere too much in each other’s affairs and we give each other space. We are not even very far apart from each other. But we keep the balance so that our marriage is on the right track. She is Russian and He has converted to the Hindu religion and I always give him the reference of Lord Shiva and Parvati. I always tell him that the relationship between husband and wife should be like Shiv and Parvati. We keep them as our idols in our relationship. I teach their Geeta and read a lot of mythological stuff together. I feel like you really need a good destination to find a perfect partner and family, “Rahul Mahajan told TOI in an interview.
Rahul married Natalya in 2018. This is his third marriage and the couple has an age difference of 18 years. While Rahul was 43 years old, Natalya was 25 when they married. He was previously married to Dimpy Ganguly (2010-2015) and Shweta Singh (2006-2008). His two ex-wives had accused Rahul of domestic violence.
Speaking about his upcoming stint at Bigg Boss 14’s house, Rahul, who is the son of the late politician Pramod Mahajan, had told IANS that life has come full circle for him. He was also a challenger in season eight.
“It’s a full circle because it was my first TV show in 2008, in the second season. Then I went into the eighth season as a challenger and this is my third time in, so it’s a full circle in a way – It started for me since Bigg Boss and he’s Bigg Boss again now. So I’m happy. It’s like season two, eight and 14. It’s like every six seasons he returns to the show!
“I am very happy to return home because it is a different experience. Not everyone has the privilege of going over and over again, and I am going for the third time,” he concluded, promising that he would add a dash of entertainment to the show.
