In her request for advance bond of more than 280 pages, Saini had asserted that Mohali’s additional sessions judge Monika Goyal’s court initially granted the petitioner bond. Four other police officers were subsequently released on bail, and the nature of the complaints was considered in both orders.
But Mohali Additional Sessions Judge Rajnish Garg, in deciding the request for bail after the addition of the crime of murder under Section 302 of the IPC, reviewed the finding and observations recorded by Judge Monika Goyal. in your previous order of May 11 on each charge.
This, his lawyer HS Deol alleged, was inadmissible under the law. He said the only reason given by the president was that the present bail application has been “filed after the addition of an offense under Section 302 of the IPC, as the investigating agency has collected more evidence.”
