Publication of the 2020 date sheet of the CBSE compartment for exams 10, 12 – education


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) published on Friday the date sheet for the examinations of the compartments of classes 10 and 12. The examination of compartments 10 and 12 of CBSE will begin from September 22.

The CBSE class 10 compartment exam will take place on September 22, 23, 25, 26 and 28, while the CBSE compartment 12 exam will take place on 22, 23, 24, 25, September 26, 28 and 29.

In addition to the theory exam, CBSE will also conduct practical exams for those candidates who have failed an internship in a subject that involves practicals. Candidates who take the Compartment Exam in a subject that involves practical work must appear in theory only if they have passed the practical exam. A practical exam will be conducted in each school for regular candidates in all subjects for their own candidates.

“The candidate’s examination in respect of the private candidate will take place at the theory examination center, unless otherwise notified. The private candidate should contact the school director of their theory test centers to find out the date and time of the practical test before the end of the theory test. The practical exam must be completed before September 28, 2020 ”, says the official statement.

The exam will begin at 10 in the morning. According to the official notice, the answer books will be distributed to the candidates between 10 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. and the candidates will begin to write the answers from 10:30 a.m.

Candidates will need to bring their own hand sanitizer in a clear bottle. All candidates will cover their mouth and nose with a mask / cloth. Candidates will follow the rules of physical distancing.

Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court issued a notice to CBSE regarding petitions filed by students in classes 10 and 12, seeking the cancellation of shared exams.

A three-judge bench headed by Judge AM Khanwilkar issued the notice on student petitions led by Anika Samvedi. The Court ordered CBSE to submit its response before September 7 and published the matter for hearing on September 10.
