The festive month of October has started and therefore public and private banks will be closed for several days in addition to the second and fourth Saturday and Sunday.
As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, banks are closed on all public holidays. However, it should be noted that there are some holidays that are regional, that is, restricted to only certain states. Regional holidays are decided by the respective state governments.
It is also likely that on these holidays, ATMs will not disburse cash.
