PUBG Mobile pre-registration on the TapTap store: is it authentic?
Many users are left confused as PUBG Corporation has made an official announcement regarding the previous PUBG Mobile – India registrations.

PUBG Mobile India was unseated and the release date is getting a great response from the Tap Tap registered gamer community. At the time of writing, the latest version of the game received over 2 lakh of pre-registrations. The description of this pre-registration list also reveals that the Facebook and YouTube pages for PUBG Mobile India are now available. In fact, PUBG Mobile India’s Facebook and Instagram pages have posted trailers for the game, saying it’s “coming soon.” The Tap Tap listing also mentions that the game will be available in both English and Hindi.

But now the big question is: if the pre-registrations of the game are real and authentic, why is the company not making any official announcement about it?

According to some experts, the main reason could be that the government of India has yet to pronounce its official stance on the relaunch of PUBG Mobile after the ban is lifted.

“As the ministry has not yet given the green signal, PUBG Corporation is reluctant to make an official statement on the return or unseat other than the initial announcement,” according to industry insiders.

To comply with local regulations, the Corporation plans to establish a local office where it will hire more than 100 employees to improve communications and services with players. “In addition to establishing a local office, the company will seek to actively collaborate and leverage local businesses to strengthen its gaming service,” added the developers.

The Corporation and parent company Krafton plan to make investments of $ 100 million (approximately Rs. 746 million rupees) in India to “cultivate the local video game, e-sports, entertainment and IT industries.” As of now, the team has not shared a return date for the game.
