PUBG Mobile India was rumored to launch today, but there is no official update from the company

  • PUBG mobile India is likely to return to India on November 20, but neither PUBG Corporation nor its parent company Krafton has issued a statement to address the same.
  • During the last week, an official PUBG Mobile India site has been created. Three trailers have been released indicating that the game is ‘coming soon’.
  • PUBG Mobile also plans to introduce stricter time limits, green blood, and fully dressed characters.

Indian fans of the game Battle Royale PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) are waiting with great anticipation for the game to return to India.

It was rumored to be relaunched in India on November 20. However, at the time of writing, there has yet to be any official announcement from PUBG Corporation or parent company Krafton regarding the game’s release.

Meanwhile, the company has created an official site and uploaded teasers indicating that PUBG Mobile’s return to India is imminent.

“The teaser will be out tomorrow. So we can assume that the game is likely to be released before November 20, ”said PUBG player Kronten, who is one of the faces featured in the trailer along with Dynamo and Jonathan, on November 14.

The Indian government has also been remarkably quiet about PUBG Mobile’s return to India after the Battle Royale game was banned in September from among the list of 118 Chinese mobile apps. According to the statement from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the game was blocked due to data protection and privacy issues.

The pre-registration page also reveals that the PUBG Mobile India Facebook and YouTube pages are now active as well.

However, as of this writing, the pre-registration window has been closed, which could mean that the official launch is imminent.

Will PUBG Mobile India return to India?
The answer is yes, but the official release date has yet to be revealed.

To comply with the Indian government regulations, PUBG Corporation plans to establish a local office with at least 100 employees. “In addition to establishing a local office, the company will seek to actively collaborate and leverage local businesses to strengthen its gaming service,” the developers said in the statement.

Krafton also plans to get some skin in the game with a $ 100 million investment in India to “cultivate local video game, esports, entertainment and IT industries.” However, the date of the investment and other details have not yet been disclosed.

PUBG Mobile India will have some changes
As PUBG Mobile relaunches in India, it won’t be exactly the same as the game of yesteryear. Until now, if you played PUBG for hours, the game would issue a warning to users to alert them to the time that has passed. In the new version, instead of just a warning, the game will likely not allow users to enter a game after a certain number of hours.

To address the problem of in-game violence, the company also plans to introduce the “green blood” effect, which is already part of the Korean version of the game.

And lastly, the default card will no longer be bare for new users. To avoid the discomfort of having to run around in your underwear while searching for clothes instead of weapons, the game will now start with characters dressed automatically.
