With safety in mind, the first thing the stylist changed was Bachchan’s tie. “Last season I had a Bachchan tie issue and I had to go to the floor to fix the tie during every break,” he said. Now that social distancing is practiced, the stylist incorporated pins and brooches to complete the actor’s look.
Another thing that Patil has taken into account this season is the fabrics. The stylist who used to get Mr. Bachchan’s outfits from international sources has gone local this time. “I am giving preference to local merchants as I used to import them before. So far, I have the fabrics that I have been looking for from India itself and I am very proud to say that whatever I have in mind, I have been successful in getting that from our own country. “
When it comes to designing the three-piece suits, it’s all about deep colors to match the evening’s show. “His favorite colors are black and navy blue. The superstar was diagnosed with Covid-19 some time ago. Patil has also been working with a smaller team now making sure they wear PPE gear, face shields, masks and are disinfected regularly.
