The latest episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ show has garnered more than five billion dislikes on the Bhartiya Janata Party’s YouTube channel.

This August episode of the monthly radio show in which Modi addresses the nation has become one of the least liked videos on BJP’s YouTube channel in less than 24 hours of airing.

In his 68th speech on ‘Mann ki Baat’ on Sunday, Prime Minister Modi suggested that people bring home indigenous breeds as they require less maintenance costs and are already well adapted to the country’s climatic conditions.

#Mann_Ki_Nahi_Students_Ki_Baat started trending on Twitter shortly after the episode aired. Many on YouTube and Twitter questioned the Prime Minister for not addressing the issues of the JEE and NEET exams.

A comment on Youtube says: “He (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) does not talk about jobs, small businesses and also education. You are the prime minister of India, we don’t need Mann Ki Baat … we need you to fulfill the duty for which we elected you. “

While another user wrote: “Enough is enough! Mr. PM, focus on development instead of just talking. “

Many also criticized PM Modi for talking about dog and toy breeds instead of postponing exams.

One person commented, “When it comes time to talk about students live, he prefers to talk about dog breeds and toys.”

“We only need your response regarding the JEE NEET postponement, if you respond, I will be completely satisfied,” wrote another.

At the time of writing, the video had garnered over 18 lakh views with over 74,000 likes, 5,00,000 dislikes, and 88,000 comments.

During their ‘Mann Ki Baat’ interaction, PM Modi also referred to Etikoppaka toys, which are made by Etikoppala artisans on the banks of the Varaha River in Visakhapatnam District.

The toys got the GI label in 2017, which helped them promote themselves abroad. To be marketed there too, samples of the toys had been sent to the relevant ministry for certification.
