New Delhi: The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has released Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest asset statement. According to the statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s net worth has increased this year compared to last year.
As of June 30, 2020, PM Modi’s net worth increased by Rs 36 lakh from Rs 2.49 crore last year to Rs 2.85 crore this year.
The increase in assets is mainly due to bank deposits of almost Rs 3.3 lakh and an increase in the value of your fixed bank deposits by around Rs 33 lakh as of 2019.
The prime minister has not taken out loans and does not own any vehicles in his name.
Details of the movable property of PM Modi:
Cash: As of June 30, 2020, PM Modi had Rs 31,450 as cash on hand.
Details of the deposit in bank accounts: Prime Minister Modi’s bank balance as of June 30, 2020 was Rs 3.38,173 with the NSC branch of SBI Gandhinagar. His Bank FDR and MOD balance was Rs 1,60,28,039 in the same bank.
Details of the investment in Bonds: The PM has an L&T Infrastructure Bond (Tax Savings) worth Rs 20,000 (dated Jan 25, 2012).
Details of the investment in NSS, LIC: As of June 30, 2020, the PM had National Savings Certificates (Correos) worth Rs 8,43,124 and Life Insurance Policies for Rs 1,50,957.
Jewelry, bullion and valuables: PM Modi had four pieces of gold rings that weighed approximately 45 grams (as of June 30, 2020). Its approximate value was 1.51,875 rupees.
The total gross value of mobile assets is Rs 1.75,63,618.
PM Modi Real Estate Details:
Residential buildings: PM Modi owns parcel No. 401 / A in Sector-1, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, with three other co-owners, each with an equal 25 percent stake. The total area of the parcel is 3,531.45 square feet. The property worth Rs 1,30,488 was purchased on October 25, 2002. An investment worth Rs 2,47,208 has been made in the land. The current market value of the parcel is approximately Rs 1,10,00,000.
