Prime Minister Modi inaugurates 3 key oil projects in Bihar, says the state has been exemplary in bringing the Center’s scheme to the people

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the Bihar administration has been exemplary in ensuring that government plans reach the common people.

He said: “In the last 15 years, Bihar has shown that if the right government is chosen in a state, the benefits of the government’s plans can reach its people.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the three oil sector projects in Bihar that cost more than 900 million rupees. Projects include the Durgapur-Banka section of the Paradip-Haldia-Durgapur Pipeline Augmentation Project and two Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Bottling Plants in Banka and Champaran, according to news agency PTI.

These two LPG plants will be able to fill gas cylinders for various districts not only in Bihar, but also in Jharkhand and some districts in Uttar Pradesh, Narendra Modi said.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Trade Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Bihar MP Sushil K Modi were among those present at the virtual inauguration ceremony.

PM said the Center has worked extensively on the development of all energy-related projects in the state.

He said: “We do not live in the age when one generation saw a project launch and another generation saw its completion. New India and New Bihar believe in accelerated development. ”

He further added that the time when someone had a gas connection was considered a big shot is now a thing of the past.

She also highlighted that Center schemes like Ujjwala have also empowered women and ensured that they don’t spend hours collecting firewood which then when burned for cooking would also cause respiratory problems.

The prime minister said that the infrastructure of eastern India and Bihar was never prioritized. He further said that previous people never imagined that they could have access to the developed infrastructure because there were economic and political problems that no one paid attention to despite the region being full of natural and human resources.

Prime Minister Modi especially thanked the people who delivered gas cylinders to the homes of ordinary people amid the Covid-19 pandemic by inaugurating the plan.

Prime Minister Modi praised Nitish Kumar, Bihar’s chief minister, for empowering Bihar’s youth and making sure the state’s education system nurtures talents.

He said: “You can look at any sector in India: education, income taxes, work or health care. Bihar’s contribution in all sectors is clearly visible. Bihar has helped India grow. “
