Meanwhile, speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the farmers of Haryana have understood the Congress party’s tactics and would not allow anyone to mislead them.
“We have no objection to Rahul Gandhi’s tractor rally. However, if attempts are made to gather crowds and disrupt law and order in the state, it will not be tolerated at any cost. Haryana Interior Minister Anil Vij also said the government would have no problem if Rahul Gandhi entered the state with “some people” for his tractor demonstrations. “But he will not be allowed to bring in a large crowd to ‘disturb’ the atmosphere of the state,” Vij said.
“This problem concerns our law and order. Last month, we also blocked two Congressional-sponsored rallies from entering our state. The Congress party is scheduled to hold tractor rallies in Kurukshetra and Karnal on October 6-7.
