New Delhi:
Poll strategist Prashant Kishor attacked Bihar’s chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday after he was sworn in for the seventh time, saying he was “nominated” for the post by the BJP and that the state should prepare to a few more years of mediocre government with a “tired and politically despised” leader at the helm.
Once a close associate of Mr. Kumar, Mr. Kishor was appointed vice president of JD (U) by the party chief, but his independent and often antagonistic views soured their relations and he was expelled from the party.
“Congratulations to Nitish Kumar on being sworn in as the BJP nominated prime minister. With a tired and politically disparaged leader like CM, #Bihar should prepare for a few more years of lackluster rule,” Kishor said in a tweet.
भाजपा मनोनीत मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर शपथ लेने पर @NitishKumar जी को बधाई।
With a tired and politically despised leader like CM, #Bihar it should prepare for a few more years of mediocre governance.
