Popular Indian actor Ashiesh Roy, who appeared on various television shows, passed away in Mumbai on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. He was 55 years old and was not well for a long time, battling kidney disease. Ashiesh passed away at his residence in Mumbai and the information was shared by CINTAA Senior Deputy Secretary Amit Behl, who was informed of the passing by Director Arvind Babbal.
Reports shared by the house aide indicated that Ashiesh had a couple hiccups early in the morning around 3:45 a.m. and collapsed after that. His dialysis treatment was scheduled for November 24, 2020. Aid informed the security guard about it and reported that his health was fine during the day.
Actress Tina Ghai expressed her grief and said that CINTAA has been informed about the same, as the members face difficulties in obtaining the death certificate since he passed away at his residence. The funeral is expected to take place tonight and Ashiesh’s sister will also arrive from Kolkata.
Ashiesh was being treated at a hospital in Juhu and shared the information on Facebook mentioning the need for funds as he did not have enough money to support the treatment. Despite her efforts, Ashiesh was unable to find work during the confinement and the lack of money increased her worries and health. He was admitted to the ICU in May 2020 and sought help for further treatment.
Earlier this week, generation 2020 actress Leena Acharya also passed away due to kidney disease. He reportedly breathed his last in Delhi.
