NEW DELHI: In the National technology day Monday Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted all who are at the forefront of research and innovation to beat coronavirus and recalled the “exceptional achievement” of the country’s scientists in the 1998 realization Pokhran nuclear tests
National Technology Day marks the anniversary of underground nuclear tests conducted in Rajasthan’s Pokhran.

We remember the exceptional achievement of our scientists on this day in 1998. It was a historic moment in the history of India. ” Modi said in a series of tweets.

Tests at Pokhran in 1998 also showed the difference that strong political leadership can make, he said.
The Prime Minister said: “Today, technology is assisting many in efforts to rid the world of COVID-19. I greet all who are at the forefront of research and innovation on ways to defeat the coronavirus.”
Modi said he hoped humanity will continue to take advantage of technology to create a better and healthier planet.
