Poco X3 detailed in more specs and price leaks

little x3 teaser angus kai ho ng twitter

  • A long list of specs supposedly detailing the upcoming Poco X3 has been leaked.
  • The leaked information is apparently derived from a deleted YouTube video in Spanish.
  • Pricing information has also appeared early, coming from Xiaomi’s store in the Philippines.

Poco, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, has been joking about the specifications of its upcoming Poco X3 mid-ranger, but a substantial new leak has now filled in the gaps.

The leaked information, coming from tipster Abhishek Yadavreportedly obtained from a previous and now deleted Spanish unboxing video.

We haven’t had a chance to view the video ourselves, but the information apparently corroborates previously leaked information posted by Ishan Agarwal. This includes the 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a hefty 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charge support, and a 64MP f / 1.79 main camera. The last detail was also confirmed by Poco’s global spokesperson late last month.

Yadav mentions three additional rear cameras, including an 8MP wide-angle snapper, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera.

As for its internals, the Poco X3 will be powered by the Snapdragon 732G, a detail that has also appeared in previous reports. As for storage, Yadav claims that there will be at least two storage options of 64GB and 128GB, and at least 6GB of RAM.

In another escape (via Playfuldroid), we also have an idea of how aggressively it could price Poco on its first original device. According to a listing on Xiaomi’s Philippines store, the “standard version” of the Poco X3 could start at 10,990 Philippine pesos (~ $ 226) with a “premium version” priced at 12,990 Philippine pesos (~ $ 267). The latter could have more storage and RAM than its brother.

At that price, the X3 could be a solid outlook, well below the $ 379 OnePlus Nord and $ 349 Google Pixel 4a in the mid-range market. Direct conversions are not always accurate representations of prices in different markets, but Poco seems to be building this device to greatly reduce the price-to-value ratio of these devices.

Not long to wait for specs and pricing confirmation, at least. The Poco X3 is scheduled to launch on September 7.
