Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for nine road projects worth Rs 14,258 crore in Bihar via video conference on Monday.
According to a press release issued by PMO on Saturday, the project will aid in the overall development of the state as better connectivity, especially with the neighboring states of Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand, will foster economic growth in the area.

Of these, the major road projects are six launches of the 39 km section of the Patna ring road, four launches of the Ara-Mohania section of NH 30, the Bakhtiarpur-Rajauli section of NH 31 and four launches of the Narenpur – Purnea section of NH 131A.
The prime minister will also inaugurate fiber optic internet services in the state. Under these, the 45,945 villages of Bihar will be connected via fiber optic internet service, according to the statement. The Department of Telecommunications, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the Common Services Centers (CSC) will execute this project.
