NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate Bengaluru Technology summit, 2020 at 11 a.m. on Nov. 19 via videoconference, officials said Wednesday.
The Bengaluru Technology Summit, organized by the Government of Karnataka together with the Karnataka Technology and Innovation Society (KITS), Karnataka Government Vision Group on Information Technology, Biotechnology & StartUp, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications, is scheduled to run from November 19-21.
The summit will feature the participation of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Vice President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin, and many other leading international figures.
In addition to them, opinion leaders, industry captains, technocrats, researchers, innovators, investors, policy makers and educators from India and around the world will also participate in the summit.
This year, the theme of the summit is “Next is now.” The summit will deliberate on key challenges emerging in the post-pandemic world with a focus on the impact of prominent technologies and innovations in the ‘Information Technology and Electronics’ and ‘Biotechnology’ domains.
