PM Modi talks to US President Joe Biden and says “committed to rules-based international order” India News


NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra modi on monday i spoke with the president of the united states Joe biden and said both leaders are committed to a rules-based international order.
The prime minister said on Twitter that he spoke with Biden and conveyed his best wishes for the president’s success.

“We discussed regional issues and our shared priorities. We also agreed to promote our cooperation against climate change,” he added. Modi said.
The Prime Minister added that he hopes to consolidate ties between India and the United States for peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region.
“President @JoeBiden and I are committed to a rules-based international order. We look forward to consolidating our strategic partnership to advance peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond,” Modi said.
The prime minister had congratulated Biden after the latter was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States.
“Congratulations to Joe Biden on taking office as President of the United States, I look forward to working with him to strengthen ties between India and the United States,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted.
