NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra modi on Tuesday it said India provides great investment opportunities for the world and moves towards urban transformation.
Address the 3rd annual Bloomberg New Economy Forum, PM said: “India has exciting opportunities to invest in urbanization, mobility, innovation and sustainable solutions. These opportunities come alongside a vibrant democracy, a business-friendly climate, huge markets, and a government that has left no stone unturned for make India a global investment destination. ”
Emphasizing creating a post-pandemic world, he said the world must rebuild around people and cities will have to be more livable. The post-covid reboot will not be possible without a reset of mindset, process and practices, he added.
Furthermore, he noted that as much as Rs 2 lakh crore is being invested in 100 smart cities, adding that from this, projects worth Rs 1.4 lakh crore have been completed or are nearing completion.
Modi said that the Covid-19 crisis has given us the opportunity to develop new protocols in all fields, just like after the world wars, the whole world worked on the new world order and changed itself.
