The prime minister conducted a detailed review of the Nagrota meeting on November 20.

Union Interior Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla and senior intelligence officials were present at the meeting.

Officials from the Foreign Ministry said the government is likely to summon officials from the Pakistan High Commissioner to protest against the continuing acts of terrorism planned on its territory against India.

‘Something big planned’

A senior government official said the Pakistan-based terrorists were “planning something big on the anniversary of the 11/26 Bombay terrorist attacks” on November 26.

In a tweet after the meeting, Modi said: “The neutralization of 4 terrorists belonging to the Pakistan-based terror organization Jaish-e-Mohammed and the presence of a large cache of weapons and explosives with them indicates that their efforts to great ravages and destruction has again been thwarted. “

A senior government official said that in addition to the massive amount of weapons and ammunition, a digital mobile radio made by a Pakistani company, Micro Electronics, was also recovered from the four killed terrorists. “The messages exchanged on the device show that the intruders were continuously in contact with their handlers in Pakistan. One of the messages on the device read: Kaha phnche kia sorate hal hai koi mushkil to nahi? [where have you reached? Hope you are not in any trouble?]”Said the official. The DDC elections will be held at J&K UT next week.

Since August 2019, more than 200 terrorists have been killed, including 30 foreigners, in various operations by the security forces.
