He also said that Mufti agreed to join a meeting of the signatories of the Gupkar Declaration tomorrow.
Mehbooba, detained since August last year, was released last night by the J&K administration.

The release of the head of the PPD occurred before the expiration of the deadline set by the Supreme Court, to which her daughter Iltija Mufti had addressed with a petition for habeas corpus challenging her “illegal” detention.
