Payal Ghosh shares an old tweet about Jr. NTR in relation to the rape case of Anurag Kashyap; says, ‘I was silenced’

Payal Ghosh took the industry by storm when he accused prominent filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment. The actress had taken to her Twitter account and said that the director of Gangs of Wasseypur tried to impose himself on her when she approached to discuss a project with him. The filmmaker had categorically denied her accusations. And now, Payal shared a deleted tweet in which he had tried to open up about the same test years ago. She shared the image from the tweet and said that Anurag Kashyap had taken the name Jr NTR in their conversation. In her tweet, Payal Ghosh had claimed that Anurag Kashyap accused her of having an affair with the Southern superstar. The actress praised Jr NTR saying that “Junior NTR knows how to respect women” and is a complete gentleman. She also said that she is a huge fan of him. The actresses once again shared the image, which was shared by a social media user and said that she was also silent earlier. Payal tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and Ramdas Athawale in her post. “Tried tweeting this before then I was silenced by @PMOIndia @narendramodi @AmitShah @RamdasAthawale,” Payal wrote while sharing the photo. Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap stopped by the Versova police station. The Bengali actress registered a complaint at the Versova police station. The FIR was registered under Sections 376 (I) of the Indian Penal Code (rape), 354 (assault or use of criminal force on a woman with the intent to violate her modesty), 341 (undue restraint) and 342 (confinement undue), an official said, adding that more investigations are underway, according to PTI. The actor-producer-filmmaker is still at the police station being questioned by the police.
