In the second of the three-game T20 International series, England captain Eoin Morgan won the draw and chose to pitch first on a sunny afternoon at The Old Trafford, Manchester today. After the toss, Morgan suggested that the wicket could be slower, while Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam said he wanted to toss first as well, but the coin did not fall in his favor.

Both teams have lined up the same playing 11 of the 1st International T20. On the question about the inclusion of Wahab Riaz, Babar said that the left arm pacemaker is an outstanding pitcher, but that the team cannot afford to have three left arm closers, that would affect the team’s balance.

Playing 11 of both teams:

Pakistan playing 11: Babar Azam (c), Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Rizwan (w), Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi.

England playing 11: Tom Banton, Jonny Bairstow (w), Dawid Malan, Eoin Morgan (c), Sam Billings, Moeen Ali, Lewis Gregory, Tom Curran, Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, Saqib Mahmood.
